Ryann was a true child of the Apocalypse. Her father left long before she was born, and when Ryann was 10 years old, her mother departed mysteriously, immediately preceding the takeover of her neighborhood by the Bandits of the Hood. Because she was born into such a tumultuous world state, Ryann was fully prepared to fend for herself, and left the area to become a wayfarer. She began to scavenge particular regions, having an uncanny ability to find items that nobody else seemed to notice. Early on she realized the usefulness of this, and figured that due to her lack of strength or physically intimidating appearance, she could use this ability to simultaneously prosper and guarantee her safety among those who might cause her harm.
Ryann has a reputation among the inhabitants of the Wasteland as the trader with the best goods, but also as the trader who asks the highest price for her goods. She is particularly useful for those in need of clean food and drink. It is said that she may have some knowledge of the identity of the Postmaster.
